An online training session was organized on April 10, 2026 by the School of Foreign Languages at Istanbul Medeniyet University in collaboration with Unlimited Educational Services (UES). Titled "Effective Use of the Skillful 3 Listening & Speaking Coursebook and Lesson Planning Strategies”, the session was delivered by Sena Akyol, a trainer from UES, and attended by instructors from the School of Foreign Languages.
The training focused on how a skill-based coursebook can be used as the main course material, how a unit can be distributed across lessons, and effective teaching strategies that can be implemented in the classroom.
Practical approaches to listening, vocabulary teaching, grammar, and speaking skills were shared. Additionally, practical tips were offered on how to ensure coordination in situations where different instructors teach the same class.
The session concluded on a highly productive note, with thanks extended to Sena Akyol from UES.
