In order to follow innovative approaches in language education and enhance teaching practices, instructors from the School of Foreign Languages—Lect. Şeyma Bakıcı, Lect. Emine Çiftçi, and Lect. Canan Köse—participated in the training program titled “Empowering Language Education with AI”, held on March 26–27, 2026.
The intensive program, hosted at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University Ayasofya Campus and designed for academics, targeted participants who already have intermediate-level experience with AI tools and aim to advance their skills further. The training focused on moving beyond basic prompting to the development and implementation of practical AI-driven solutions that can be integrated into teaching processes.
Throughout the program, participants explored how artificial intelligence can be strategically incorporated into language teaching through real classroom scenarios. They also developed skills in creating AI-powered tools and products that can be utilized by both teachers and learners.
This program holds significant importance as it contributes to the effective and informed use of artificial intelligence applications, which constitute a key component of digital transformation in education.
