The 2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester Foreign Language (English) I Final Exam will be held online on Tuesday, 07.01.2025, between 17.30 and 18.05. It includes all the topics and consists of 25 questions.
- The exam time is 35 minutes. 30 minutes are allocated for questions and 5 minutes additional time is given for possible technical problems. You must complete your exam within this time.
- IMU011 Final Exam will be held as a single session via GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Students will access the exam through their own GOOGLE CLASSROOM section.
- The GOOGLE CLASSROOM sections you registered for the Foreign Language I (IMU011) course will be used for the online exam. You do not need to register again if you have already registered for GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
- When the exam starts, write your "name, surname, student number and department" correctly. Ensure this information is not incomplete or incorrect before submitting the exam. The exams of students who enter incomplete/incorrect information will be considered invalid.
- If you have not yet registered in GOOGLE CLASSROOM, please register for the class with the class code shared with you by the instructor at the beginning of the semester. If you are having trouble registering, please click on the link below or contact the instructor.
- If you have problems viewing the exam after the exam has started, try refreshing the page.
- You may use your desktop (PC), laptop, or cell phone for the Final Exam. You are expected to take necessary precautions against internet connection problems and/or power outages during the exam. For this purpose, if possible, we recommend you to prepare a desktop computer (PC) with high internet connection speed or at a suitable height and/or a charged laptop and/or cell phone and 3G, 4.5G connection. All responsibility in this regard will belong to the student.
Important: If you see the questions in Turkish on the Google Classroom page, right click on the page and select "Translate to English".
- You can go back to the questions and make the necessary changes to your answers.
- At the end of the exam, you must end your exam by clicking on the "Submit Quiz" tab. If you do not click "Submit Quiz", your quizzes will not be evaluated.
- You will not be able to return to the exam or make any changes after you click the “Submit Quiz” tab.
- You may receive a "late submission" or "undelivered" notification in Google Classroom even though you have submitted the exam on time. However, after submitting your exam, if you see the warning "The exam is over. The exam results will be published on UBYS in the coming days.", it means that your exam has been submitted.
- Students who are exempt from IMU011 Foreign Language I (English) course do not have the right to take the exam.
- During and after the exam process, no written and/or visual content related to the Foreign Language I (English) Final Exam may be copied, modified, distributed or used on any platform, including printed and social (digital) media, including recording, printing, photocopying, taking screenshots, etc. Exams of students who are found to have violated the rules will be invalidated. All responsibility in this regard belongs to the student.
