-Except for the English Language Education Undergraduate Program, the proficiency grade in the foreign language preparatory program is at least 70 out of 100. In the English Language Education Undergraduate Program, the proficiency grade is at least 80 out of 100.
Note: Students who wish to object to the January 19-20, 2026 Proficiency Exam results may object to the exam results in terms of material errors within three (3) business days following the announcement date, in accordance with Article 11, paragraph 4 of the Istanbul Medeniyet University Foreign Language Preparatory Education-Teaching and Exam Regulation No. 31332, dated December 12, 2020. Candidates who will submit an objection petition must pay attention to the following points and send their signed petitions to ydy@medeniyet.edu.tr or hand-deliver their petitions to the Foreign Languages School Secretariat by the end of business hours (16:00) on January 26, 2026 (Monday).

• Petitions must include your wet signature. Take a photo of your wet-signed petition or scan your petition as a PDF and send it.
• Send the photo file or scanned file to the School of Foreign Languages e-mail address: ydy@medeniyet.edu.tr
• If your petition reaches us, the response “Your petition has been processed.” will be sent to the e-mail address you sent your e-mail to. If you do not receive a response within one (1) business day, resend your e-mail containing your petition.
• The student is responsible for following up on the e-mail sent. The School of Foreign Languages does not take responsibility for e-mails that do not arrive or arrive late.
• Your petition must be legible and understandable, and must include all the information requested in the petition (e-mail address, contact number, etc.).
