Istanbul Medeniyet University's Project Club organized an event called the "Project Club Second Basketball Tournament" on May 27, 2022. The event took place on our university's basketball courts. The moderation was carried out by Hasan Celal Güven, a student of Political Science and Public Administration at our university and the president of our community, and Fahrettin Mert Geler, the vice president of our community.
The aim of this event, which was attended by university students, was to provide a relaxing atmosphere for students who were tired from the intense pace of their classes and to offer them a fun and fair competition environment. Throughout the approximately 6-hour basketball tournament, both the spectators and players replenished their energy by enjoying the buffet-style meals provided. This allowed both the athletes and supporters to participate more actively in the exciting matches. At the end of the tournament, the players of the winning team were rewarded. They were presented with medals and a trophy, immortalizing their achievements with fond memories.
This event provided an opportunity for students to come together and have fun after their stressful and busy academic periods. It also contributed to the development of teamwork and solidarity skills among students by emphasizing the importance of team spirit and sportsmanship.
